Sabine Pass Lighthouse has been illuminated for the Christmas Season.

The construction on the Sabine Pass Lighthouse was completed in 1856 making her 169 years young this month. We would like to thank Porche Aerial for taking their time to film the lighting.

They note there is an issue with the light timer which should be fixed tomorrow.

COASTAL EROSION:
Jacob Lanier did this mini documentary recently for a class project for his last semester that’s ending now at Sowela on Coastal Erosion.

It’s like a mini follow up of the CSPAN documentary that he received best in show award recently at Sowela for the mini documentary.

It features commentary from Scooter Trosclair with Rockefeller Refuge.

CPAD2 is hosting a toy drive to help spread joy to our prek-1st grade students at Johnson's Bayou, Hackberry, and Grand Lake schools 🎁🧸

🎄When: Saturday December 13th
➡️ 10am-12:30pm at Brown’s Food Center in Hackberry
➡️ 1:30pm-3pm at the JB Rec
🎁✨we will also have a donation box set up at the JB Jingle at JBHS on December 10th! (time tba) ✨🎁
