ACTIVE SITUATION: Newport Police are currently investigating a Bomb Threat at the Newport City Elementary School.

All Staff and children have been evacuated safely to a pre determined location. - We asked that you please avoid the area at this time.

Newport Police will update this message once the situation is determined to be safe.

Federal funding is based on participation, so every meal served helps strengthen and sustain the program for the families who count on it most. The more kids and families who participate, the more welcoming and “normal” the program becomes, helping remove the stigma that can sometimes keep people away. Summer meals are for everyone 18 and under, and every person in line helps make that message louder and clearer.
