We’ve had the chance to work with the Boston Red Sox crew a few times now, and every project has that same creative back-and-forth that keeps things fun and fresh. This time, we sent a small camera & lighting rental package and a tech down to Fenway to help their video production team capture some sweet campaign content.

Recently, the team at Evenflo brought their project "build your own travel system" to Studio Lab!

Their goal was to showcase their new, customizable stroller system. To make this happen, Evenflo teamed up with Sweven Visual Engineering to bring the project to life by combining both practical and digital sets in our Studios A and C. They used a combination of our LED wall, white c*c, color changing lighting and cinema robotics to create multiple looks.

Before & After: Fire N Gin edition! 🔥

Before it became the outdoor hangout and event space we all know today, this area sat quietly behind the building first as storage containers, then as “Joel’s house” where he parked his camper for some time, and long before all that, it was home to the antennas of a local news station.

Today, Fire N Gin is a space that brings people together around good food, good conversations, and good fires. It has lived up to its name (a nod to “fire engine”) by becoming home to countless hangouts, many shoots, and events! Whether you’re here to relax by the fire, grill with friends, or create something new, this space is all about community, creativity, and connection.

One last thing: people always ask us about the antique fire trucks...

It all started one day during COVID, when Ian started cooking over a small fire out back. He used to joke about wanting his own food truck someday. So, when someone jokingly said, “You should get a fire truck!” it struck… and he actually did. A 1983 Seagrave, to be exact. When Ian told Tim he wanted to park it out back, Tim said, “Why would we do that?” Ian replied, “Hear me out.” From there, one fire truck turned into two, then three. A patio was built, and soon after Industry Night was born.

The studios have been booked and busy lately, and it’s all thanks to the incredible teams who’ve brought their creativity through our doors.

From Deep Vibe and OLP Creative with Boston Dynamics to EVR Advertising, Element, Copper Giants, and our first-ever game show Shot or Shock with Reveel, it’s been amazing to see so many different visions come to life across the building (and even out at Fire N Gin).

We’re truly grateful for everyone who’s made Studio Lab part of their process. If you’ve got a project you’ve been thinking about bringing to life, now’s a great time to make it happen!

The New Hampshire Film Festival kicks off today, and our crew’s been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready to roll for the Studio Lab Deep Dives! From load-in to sound checks and final tweaks, we’ve been setting the stage for an exciting few days ahead. At Studio Lab, we’re all about innovation and finding creative solutions to make production easier, safer, and more efficient.

When Greg Farnum at Sweven Visual Engineering had the idea for filming a baby in a car seat, he knew our studio was the perfect place to make it happen. Instead of worrying about filming on the road, the team set up a shoot using virtual production and our LED wall to safely recreate a realistic driving scene without having to worry about highways or car rigs.

Our studios are fully equipped to fit vehicles, giving production teams the flexibility to film any driving environment without leaving the building (and without any safety concerns).

Big thanks to our crew who made this possible, and to our incredible talent: Carolyn for her role as the mom, and the little ones who absolutely stole the show. Definitely one of the cutest shoots we’ve ever done!
