This weekend we traveled to Excelsior Springs, MO for BBQ & Fly In on the River. It was a HOT one but we rolled with it the best we could! Saturday started early with our Bloody Mary turn in at 8am(still awaiting results). Then it was time to prep and get the big meats going! There was no major hiccups and everything went pretty smooth! This contest Heather got to try her hand at a new dessert recipe that was amazing and evidently the judges thought so too! So, how did we do out of 83 amazing teams?!

Chicken🐔 : 24th Smart Chicken
Ribs 🐷: 34th Prairie Fresh
Pork 🐷: 64th Prairie Fresh
Brisket 🐮: 44th
Dessert 🍨: 2nd with a 180!!!
Overall: 44th
