As many know, we lost a tremendous human being and iconic antler world figure recently. Gale Sup was on a very short list of antler collectors who was someone you would want as a friend. If you ever met him, you knew he was a very generous, classy guy with a great sense of humor. Those that knew him, never knew if you were going to receive a email about antlers or some sort of off the wall humor (which was Gale). He was always willing to give you as much time as you had, which is rare in today's world.
Although not part of the inital bunch of collectors (Goodwin, Arnold, Idol etc), he was a driving force once he started. And once he started, he didn't stop. Gale was collecting, trading and selling until his last days. A true collector.
Gale actually accumulated 2 collections sort of speak. His first collection listed below, he sold to Bass Pro many years ago. At the time, there were several state records and historical heads in that transaction. Shortly after selling to Bass Pro, he started on his second collection, which wasn't any less impressive than the first.
