🚨 WOMAN KILLED, IOWA STATE TROOPER SHOT IN STUART 🚨

A deadly shooting in Stuart left an adult woman dead and an Iowa State Patrol trooper wounded Tuesday afternoon. A male suspect was taken into custody, and investigators are treating the woman’s death as a homicide.

Roger Dwayne Vincent Jr., 46, of Anita, is in jail after investigators say he sexually abused a man with severe mental disabilities inside an Anita home earlier this month.

Vincent is facing kidnapping and sexual abuse charges.

🚨 DES MOINES MAN ARRESTED AFTER ASSAULT CALL TURNS INTO 100 MPH POLICE CHASE 🚨

Oscar Gipson, 49, of Des Moines, is facing several charges after police say an assault investigation turned into a high-speed chase.
Police say officers tried to stop Gipson on Saturday, August 15th, after he allegedly assaulted a woman inside his home.
Investigators say Gipson refused to stop and led officers on a chase that reached more than 100 miles per hour before crashing near Jordan Creek Parkway.
Police say a gun and ma*****na were found inside the vehicle.
The charges are allegations unless proven in court.

🚨 DES MOINES POLICE INVESTIGATING EARLY MORNING SHOOTING ON CRESTON AVENUE 🚨

Des Moines police are investigating after a man was shot early Monday morning near the airport.
Police say the shooting happened just after 4:30 a.m. on Creston Avenue.
Officers found a man shot in the leg and provided emergency medical care before he was taken to the hospital.
No suspect name, arrest, or motive has been released yet.
This is a developing investigation.

🚨 DES MOINES MAN ARRESTED AFTER MAJOR DRUG BUST NEAR IOWA STATE FAIRGROUNDS 🚨

Aaron Frank, 51, of Des Moines, is facing multiple charges after police say a months-long investigation led to a major drug seizure.

Police say officers served a search warrant Monday night, August 10th, at a home in the 3100 block of East University Avenue.

Investigators say they seized more than 13 pounds of illegal drugs, including mushrooms, ketamine, ma*****na, M**A, co***ne, THC products, 318 THC vapes, and 194 L*D tabs.

Frank is charged with multiple controlled substance violations, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges are allegations unless proven in court.

🚨 FOUR DES MOINES RESIDENTS CHARGED AFTER OSKALOOSA KWIK STAR ARMED ROBBERY 🚨

Four people from Des Moines have now been identified and charged after the armed robbery at the Kwik Star on A Avenue West in Oskaloosa.

Police say three people entered the store with their faces concealed, and at least one displayed what appeared to be a firearm.

After the robbery, police say the suspects fled, crashed near Highway 92 and Ford Avenue, then ran into a nearby cornfield.

The four charged are Cory Hale, 26, Donavon Surrette, 24, Eugene Hale, 19, and Kayla Rupp, 28.

All four are charged with first-degree robbery.

The charges are allegations unless proven in court.

🚨 ALL SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY AFTER ARMED ROBBERY AT OSKALOOSA KWIK STAR 🚨

Oskaloosa Police say an armed robbery happened Tuesday morning at the Kwik Star on A Avenue West.

Investigators say three people entered with their faces concealed, and at least one displayed what appeared to be a firearm.

Police say the suspects fled, crashed near Highway 92 and Ford Avenue, then ran into a nearby cornfield.

After a large multi-agency search, police say all suspects believed to be involved are now in custody.

No injuries were reported. Names have not been released yet.

🚨 DES MOINES MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER AFTER RIVER BEND SHOTS-FIRED INVESTIGATION 🚨

Joshua Jones, 36, of Des Moines, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a shots-fired investigation in the River Bend neighborhood.

Jones was booked into the Polk County Jail after his arrest Saturday.

Police have not released many details yet about what led up to the shooting, and this case remains under investigation.

The charge is an allegation unless proven in court.
