Alright my pals, the time has come for the cold hard reality - I'm just too sparkly for the planner world and my time is better spent in my weird neurospicy art cave here in Des Moines, Iowa.
Imperfect Inspiration has been virtual only since last year but is completely closed and no longer in operation. She had a good haul and did a lot a really fu***ng cool things. But the speed that much magic whipped up caught up with my brain and body and I just cannot move at that speed any more. I fried my whole system and I'll pay for that the rest of my life. So time to slow down and focus on the things in front of me. I still have a lot of debt ahead to pay but I'm slowly absorbing that into my new adventure.
Not a day goes by that I'm not entirely grateful for the magic of Imperfect Inspiration and what it did in my life. The lives I changed because I got emails almost daily about the difference it made. And that magic will live on forever in all of the files you guys have access to. Share them. All. Freely. Forever. Free license to give to whomever needs it :)
But it's time for me to grow my community and art and bedlam in real life...more away from the internet and trying to do as much as I can locally and with reused thrifted stuff and working to impact the community I live in and work my way out.
I truly hope you guys get to come visit me some day and see this sensory wonderland I've built. Please go visit Glitter Factory DSM on FB and Insta - follow my bedlam there! This account will be completely inactive and no longer monitored from today forward.
Speaking of working my way out...I'll be adding new LGBTQIA+ crafty millenial liberal unhinged weirdo merch (plus some thowbacks!), stickers, cards, and neurodivergent bedlam but I'm ALSO launching a brand new build your own fidget bar and a reusable junk journal keeper. Plus craft kits. Ohhhhhh the craft kits. So go shop. And keep checking back. This rebuild has been wiiiiiiiild but finally getting to tackle some retail and merch stuff and I'm stoked to get to sell some of my own art to you guys!!
I'm just saying. It's about to get even weirder. How could we do anything but accidentally name it after Leslie Knope's favorite strip club. Duh. (funny story I didn't watch it until AFTER I named the factory and um...well obviously we kept it)
You were my inspiration to finally figure out who I am under all the masking. Now you get to find out. Get excited. 😘
XOXO,
Britney
