Holy Cross Catholic Church is located in the rural town of Maxwell, Iowa, which celebrated its 150-year anniversary in 2025. Even when Christianity is declining and rural towns are losing populations, Holy Cross keeps its community strong — even non-Catholic are buried in its cemetery and will attend church on Sunday.
