I've had a few people reach out for clarification on these events. They are 48 GLOBAL competitions, not local to Des Moines. As much as I would love to bring Horror to Des Moines this year, personal issues have gotten in the way. But 48 Hour Film Project Des Moines will return next year!

The Best Film from each competition goes to Filmapalooza in Curaçao, competing for Best Special Genre Film and a spot in our Short Film Corner screening at the Cannes Film Festival!
Registration is OPEN NOW and spots are limited to 48 teams per competition!
