Your body doesn’t always need another hour-long wellness routine.

Sometimes it needs you to interrupt the pattern you’ve been repeating all day.

A few minutes to move.
A few minutes away from the screen.
A conversation that has nothing to do with work.
Something creative.
A little fresh air.

These tiny breaks may look insignificant, but they can help you add more movement, variety and recovery into a desk-heavy day.

And if your body feels stiff after hours of sitting, start with the one I care about most: movement. 🤍

Save this carousel for the next day you catch yourself saying, “I’m too busy to take a break.”

Back pain isn’t always “just age.”
And tight shoulders aren’t necessarily a sign that something is wrong with you.

Sometimes, your body has simply spent too many hours doing too little variety.

Same chair.
Same screen.
Same position.
Day after day.

Your body adapts to what you repeatedly ask it to do — which is why adding the right kinds of movement throughout your day can matter just as much as stretching after work.

If your neck, shoulders or back keep feeling stiff and you’re not sure where to start, I’m opening a few complimentary 15-minute Movement & Posture Audits.

We’ll look at what may be contributing to what you’re feeling, and I’ll give you 3 personalized movement resets to begin with.

Stop blaming the mattress. Stop blaming the chair. 🪑✋

Your body isn’t broken — it’s just stuck in the same position for 8 hours. Swipe for what actually works.

Your nervous system shapes your reality. That starts with how you move.

Your glutes are the reason your hips, knees, and low back keep complaining. This 3-level roller balance progression rebuilds the strength and control that sitting all day quietly wipes out. (Golfers — this is basically a swing-stability drill in disguise ⛳️)

Apparently I turned my living room into a zoo. 😂

But animal walks are no joke.

They challenge your body in ways our very predictable everyday movement patterns often don’t — and each one brings something a little different:

🐰 Bunny walk → challenges your legs through a deeper range of motion while working balance and coordination.

🦆 Duck walk → builds lower-body strength and control while asking your hips, knees and ankles to work together.

🐸 Frog walk → opens up the hips while challenging leg strength and mobility close to the floor.

🐒 Monkey walk → gets you moving side-to-side, combining hip mobility with coordination and weight shifting.

🐾 Four-legged walk → brings your hands into the equation, challenging your shoulders, core and coordination as your opposite limbs work together.

🐻 Bear walk — THE WINNER 🏆
Why? Because it gives you a little bit of almost everything: shoulders + wrists + core + hips + legs + coordination + stability — all while your whole body has to work together to keep you moving.

And that’s one reason I love movements like these.

Mobility isn’t only about stretching. It’s about giving your body more ways to move.

Which animal walk would YOU give the trophy to? 🏆

Most of us think mobility means being able to stretch farther.

But mobility is really about having options.

Being able to reach, rotate, bend, squat, turn and move your joints in different ways — instead of asking your body to repeat the same few positions all day.

And if you spend most of your day at a desk, that variety matters.

Your neck may want more movement.
Your hips may need a break from sitting.
Your back may want to rotate.
Your shoulders may simply need a different position.

You don’t necessarily need another hour-long workout.

Sometimes your body just needs more ways to move.

I’ve created a collection of FREE wellness guides to help you get started based on what your body needs most.
