Here's Blair, a long time fan of the Woods in the Round with Polly the Persnickety Pachyderm. Blair's mom teaches at Bay Haven Charter and his dad Cornelius is a long time volunteer and supporter of this great school....they are a wonderful family and it's an honor to know them.

My third book Augie the Nearsighted Snail is here! Augie is made fun of by the residents of the Woods in the Round because he wears glasses and is different. But Augie doesn’t have time to bother with being laughed at and teased. He has more important work that must be done. When a little girl is lost in the woods Augie uses what he thinks are his ordinary skills and he becomes an extraordinary hero. This third book in the Woods in the Round Series by Sandy Meyer reminds us of the importance of helping others, looking for the best in each other and not being quick to judge someone simply because they’re different.
