Win / Win! You & the dog get to walk!

🐾 WE NEED DOG WALKERS! 🐾

Our dog yards are getting a much-needed renovation, which is GREAT news… but it also means our outdoor turnout yards will be off-limits during the project.

That leaves our dogs needing YOU. ❤️

Our dogs highly depend on their outside time to stretch their legs, get some fresh air, burn off energy, and most importantly, get a break from their kennels. With the yards unavailable, we need volunteers to help make sure they still get that much-needed time outside.

🐕 WHEN WE NEED YOU MOST

8 AM–10 AM
6 PM–8 PM

These are our critical walking times because they coincide with deep-cleaning our kennels.

But honestly… ANY time between 8 AM and 8 PM would be AMAZING! Even if you can only give us your lunch hour, that can make a huge difference for a dog waiting in a kennel.

🦮 WHAT TO EXPECT

* Volunteers must be **16 years or older**
* You must be physically able to handle dogs 50–100+ lbs.
* Some dogs may have little to no leash skills or limited basic commands.
* Many of our dogs are strays or come from difficult situations, so some may take time to warm up to new people.
* Some dogs may be nervous around certain people, including children or men.
* Patience, calmness and willingness to work with each individual dog are a must!

We can accommodate 2 people/groups per hour

One person can take a dog for a walk while the other can hang out with two dogs in our front play yards.
