Happy International Women’s Day! 💙🌎 Today we’re honoring our namesake Winnie Cheesman.

This week cofounders and had the opportunity to visit Winnie’s childhood home in Barbados and reconnect with family who lives there now.

Winnie left Barbados in the 1920s to pursue new opportunities in the US. Nearly 100 years later, her granddaughter and great-granddaughter return to where it all started.

Together, we distributed 100 bags filled with groceries and a lucky meal (Hoppin’ John served with baked catfish) 🤤
