Che Pope is a record producer and songwriter by trade, but throughout his music career, has accomplished much more. Among his many feats, produced the Grammy Award winning album Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, spent time as the COO of GOOD Music and execute produced the GOOD Music compilation album, Cruel Summer. Now, Che is taking his experience and notoriety to Detroit where he founded the music lifestyle company, WRKSHP.

Mario Andretti appreciation post.

Andretti, the Italian-born-turned-American racing legend, is arguably the most accomplished driver in the history of motorsports. He’s one of three drivers to have won races in IndyCar, World Sportscar, NASCAR, and most notably, Formula One. Andretti’s win at the 1978 Dutch Grand Prix is still the last F1 win by an American driver, and it looks like that might hold up for quite some time.

However, Mario’s son - also legendary racer - Michael Andretti, recently announced a joint-bid with to enter the F1 grid as the tour’s first TRUE American team in decades (no, Haas does not count). If the aforementioned does end up happening, it’ll be interesting to see how the “American Team” balances the lack in current American F1 driving experience.

Is awarding an American driver an F1 seat worth the potential lack in pace? Tune into the Formula One Netflix series in 2025 to find out!

The Christmas Story House has been restored to its original movie form and is open year round to the public for tours and overnight stays. It sits across the street from the A Christmas Story Museum featuring original props, costumes and more from the film.
