Story Sound Bowl Meditation is looking for 3 amazing volunteers to help make our Sound Bowl Meditation event a success this Saturday!

We’re looking for individuals to assist with:
✨ Guest check-in
✨ Refreshments & hospitality
✨ Event setup and cleanup
✨ Helping create a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere

This is a great opportunity to support community wellness, gain volunteer experience, and be part of a healing experience.

Join Story Community Garden (SCG) for a donation-based Sound Bowl Meditation in the Park, presented in partnership with the Detroit Pistons Neighbors Program, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Parks Coalition, City of Detroit District 3, and Rakeem Journey as we celebrate Women’s Empowerment through healing, mindfulness, and community.

🌙 Evening Session: 5:30 PM

Get ready to celebrate the amazing animals that bring love, comfort, and joy into our lives! As we honor our beloved community mascot, Sunny the Turtle 🐢, we’re also celebrating all the pets who are part of our families.

We’re excited to welcome back some of our community’s favorite furry friends—Hunny, Teddy, Rocky, and Cookie! 🐶🐾 They can’t wait to meet everyone and help make this a fun-filled day for the entire family.

Whether you have a playful pup, a curious cat, a colorful bird, a hopping bunny, a gentle turtle, or any other cherished companion, this celebration is for you!
