Spending around 20 minutes mingling, he moved from booth to booth and conversed with patrons at the bar, the Michigan Chronicle reports.

But he also stopped at "They Say," a Black-owner bar and restaurant in Harper Woods and shmoozed with patrons and local notables like the Bishop Charles Ellis III. Also in attendance were Michigan Sens. Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow, Rep. Debbie Dingell and UAW President Shawn Fain.
