However, the magic of that place remains as palpable today in the memories of so many Detroiters and others who got to go in its heyday. Yes! A new and intense episode is out today!! 🎉 Big cultural changes were swirling in the air in the fall of 1968. The Pleasure Seekers were coming back home to Detroit after touring on the road for almost a year. Patti Quatro tells us about the trippy yet informative days at the Grande Ballroom with all the technicolor accoutrements of s*x, drugs, and rock & roll. We talk about more gigs around town, a hilarious “comedy” evening at the Brass Rail in London, Ontario, and a major decision about Mercury Records. The Pleasure Seekers were coming up on many crossroads – challenges the band had never dealt with before! But they kept their steadfast commitment to the musical vision of the band and faced those crossroads head on. Are you listening…? 🔥🎧🎶

Woo hoo!! New episode is here!! 🎉 The Pleasure Seekers had completed their 1968 summer-long tour in the Pacific Northwest, and were heading back home to Detroit. Two gigs were booked on the road trip – one was fun and flirty while the other was near fatal! Once back home, the band saw the seismic shifts in rock ‘n’ roll happening in their hometown and with their homeboys. The Pleasure Seekers took it all in and were ready to take on this new direction! You’re not going to want to miss this one! Join us, won’t you…?🔥🎧🎶
