My roommate had sort of an accident in my car - the one fully working car in the house. So now its impounded (at $50 a day) an hour and half away, can only be retrieved with cash, and only between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm. Also, it isn't drivable, so I have to have a tow truck there at the same time to then tow it the hour or so back to the city. And then there's the fixing it part. I was planning on selling it and my other car that needs repair.

Edit: Roommate is devoting all of their available money toward this. And will do so for a while. The assumption that this wasn't happening is insulting.
