“Indigenous Milk Medicine Week.”
“Latina/x Breastfeeding Week.”

A breastfeeding parent is a mother — period. We don’t need race-based calendar weeks. We need common sense.

And apparently we need a sanity caucus in Lansing. We also need these things in order to win in 2026:

Oakland County residents in Michigan — WAKE UP!

Did you hear? County Commission Chair Dave Woodward has taken a paid consulting gig with Sheetz, the same gas-station chain planning dozens of new stations right here. He’s literally cashing in while holding office. Isn’t that a bit suspicious?

Woodward has always been money-​hungry, greedy, and shady—calling the shots for residents, then collecting alongside the expansion plans that affect your neighborhoods.

Residents in Wixom, Rochester Hills, Farmington Hills, and other Oakland County communities have flat‑out rejected Sheetz “mini truck‑stops” in their backyards. They don’t want noise. They don’t want traffic. They sure don’t want Sheetz sheets lining their streets. Yet here’s Woodward helping them move in anyway.

What makes this even worse: Isn’t it a conflict of interest when the guy passing local zoning and approvals is getting paid by the company applying for them? Why isn’t anyone else pointing that out?
