Remember when Governor Cuomo said Trump cannot tell the states what to do with regard to COVID because the US is a Federation of States. He said the Constitution does not allow it and he threatened to sue. This is the same reason Trump cannot send in the National Guard to quell riots without the Governor requesting them. Then Governor Cuomo and Governor Murphy ordered their state nursing homes to take in COVID patients which resulting in many deaths and the spread of COVID. This is despite Trump sending
the Naval Hospital ship which was sitting empty Ready for COVID patients. Because we are a Federation of States the states are responsible for their PPE stock piles and oversight of their hospitals. The Federal Government is responsible for assisting at the Governor’s request. Many Governors including Cuomo and Calif.‘ s Newsom said Trump timely responses to their requests. As to Trump’s COVID task force and overall the government response Dr Fauci said, “I can’t imagine that...anybody
could be doing more.”

2018 Detroit Winter Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show
Finish up that last minute holiday shopping at our Detroit winter show! Time to get in that last minute holiday shopping! Finishing up our show year with us! This large show will feature artists and crafters selling their original handmade items at this beautiful venue! Admission is $3 to the public, children under 12 are free! This event will also have a full concessions stand on site provided by the venue. A portion of proceeds will benefit local non-profit, Variety of Detroit. This show is currently accepting vendors.

The Cody/Rouge-Franklin Park BUS shelter project will be a series of three creative bus shelters crafted in the shapes of the letters B, U, and S. These will be Detroit’s first and only community generated, artist designed and built bus shelters. We have installed the U and S. Help US build the B and complete our BUS!
