Here is an additional album with more of my perspective on the weekend

I've shot stockcars before, but I've never had the experience of being immersed with a team from sun up to sun down. I found it all very interesting, especially coming from the open wheel side of racing. Here are some of the moments that stuck out to me, and just a few of my favourite shots from the weekend w/ Joey McColm and Canada's Best Racing Team Inc.

In another case of "my babies are having babies" (I've known Andrew since he was 17) I finally got to meet Andrew Ranger's sweet little boy this weekend... look at that face! can you stand it?! Fyi, the holding up of the number 1 finger was completely unprompted! ha! love it!

Even though "my" racing season ended weeks ago, I was able to sneak in another day at the track (my happy place) at the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season finale shooting for Joey McColm and Canada's Best Racing Team Inc. Loved getting to experience the day from load in to load out, and hanging with the 'Pac Men". What a great group of guys and gals! It was a day of highs and lows, with an impressive display of hard driving by Joey who battled back a few times from the back of the pack to ultimately finish 14th, with not a lot of car left to drive! Will post more later, but here are a few highlights
