Friday November 14th, Detroit saxophone icon Dave McMurray celebrates the Blue Note Records release of, I LOVE LIFE even when I’m hurting, with a free hometown performance. Joined on stage and on the album by Ibrahim Jones (bass), Maurice O’Neal (keys), Wayne Gerard (guitar), Jeff Canady (drums), and Mahindi Masai (percussion). Come out, it’s a Detroit thang.
