The Stage is set for the Major League Baseball playoffs which begin Tuesday!

Will anyone make a magical run? Will the Dodgers run it back again?

What are your predictions?

The New York Giants are reporting that QB Jaxon Dart’s injury is feared to be “worse than we originally thought.” It came out earlier today that it appears as though Dart has suffered a significant knee injury that could require season-ending surgery.

My question is…… how the hell did the Giants think this wasn’t a bad injury? Everyone watching MNF knows that knees and legs don’t bend and contort like Dart’s did.

Either way, very unfortunate news for Dart and the Giants who many fans were excited might be back in the NFL playoff picture this year.

In the MLB world, the Boston Red Sox have announced a contract extension with Chief Baseball Officer, Craig Breslow.

The Sox also announced that Chad Tracy no longer has the interim tag in front of his title. Tracy has received a 3 year contract as the official manager of the Boston Red Sox, their 49th in the franchise’s history.

As many know, Tracy took over in April after the team relieved then-manager, Alex Cora. While the team still struggled at first, Tracy eventually led the Sox to one of, if not the best turnarounds in sports history.

Alright college football fans, time to get the bingo cards out, bet none of you had this one on there!!

Oklahoma St with a HUGE upset over #6 Oregon. This loss breaks a 41 game win streak against unranked opponents for the Ducks. OSU QB, Drew Mestemaker, threw for 317 yards and two TDs, while running for a third TD.

Today marks 25 years since the tragedy of 9/11/01. All of us here at the Seriously Fast brand have all the victims and their loved ones in our thoughts.

Immediately after 9/11, sports became a way of healing and coming together for many. These are just three of many photos captured that showed the pride that filled this great country in the days after the attacks.

Mark Messier wearing the helmet of fallen Chief Ray Downey, Sammy Sosa sprinting to his position in the outfield while displaying the American flag, and of course, President Bush throwing out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium.

Never Forget the Heroes of that day, who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

The hockey world lost an absolute legend yesterday. Former NHL player and head coach, and ESPN analyst, Barry Melrose, passed away at the age of 70 after battling the effects of Parkinson’s Disease since 2023.

Melrose famously coached the 1993 Los Angeles Kings to a Stanley Cup Championship. Somehow though, Melrose will be more fondly remembered for being a Sportscenter stalwart on our tv screens on a nightly basis.

Melrose will be remembered for his signature look, flashy suits, and sense of humor. As a hockey fan, there was nothing better than a segment of Steve Levy and Barry Melrose together during an episode of ESPN’s Sportscenter.
