WJXT4 The Local Station / News4JAXhas been named Overall Station of the Year by the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists, earning recognition as the top medium market television news station in the state.

The station and its reporters also brought home trophies in the following categories: Multi-Media Reporter, Economic Reporting and Cultural/Historical Feature.

A big congratulations to Karen Drew TV on winning a Gracie Award for the documentary "Backstory: Washed Away in Edenville."

The Gracie Awards are awards presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWM) to celebrate and honor programming created for women, by women, and about women. Along with help from photojournalist Justin DePrekel, Karen told the story of residents who are still dealing with the damage from the Edenville Dam breaking.

In response to the devastating floods that swept through Central Texas and the Hill Country, Graham Media Group and Gray Media have joined forces to launch an urgent donation drive supporting local relief and recovery efforts.

Through this collaborative campaign, KSAT 12 & KSAT.com in San Antonio and KPRC2 / Click2Houston in Houston and Gray stations across 113 markets in the US aim to generate donations that deliver vital resources—including food, housing, and financial aid—to impacted communities. 100% of the funds raised will support on-the-ground efforts in flood-affected regions through The Salvation Army USA.

Phil Lane was named Vice President and General Manager of KPRC in 2022. Prior to this, he held the same role at KSAT 12 & KSAT.com in San Antonio since 2011.

During his time with both Texas stations, Phil made significant contributions to the stations' success and growing audience.
