Wakeditown Records Independent, vinyl-first music label from Brixton, London (UK) We specialise in reggae, soul and hip hop music.

Founded by Matia 'Ambassa' Gobbo, music producer based in London originally from Italy, we released our first single on limited edition 7'' vinyl in January 2016.

'After Laughter Comes Tears' is our reggae version of Wendy Rene's famously sampled soul classic, and it's part of an LP to be released this summer which sees London's singer Nichola Richards interpreting 12 sampled soul classics in re

ggae style. Our music has been played on BBC Radio 1Xtra by David Rodigan, featured on 22tracks.com and it is currently distributed in stores in UK, Europe and Japan. We play and record real instruments, mix with the best analogue equipment and press vinyls because that's the sound we love and we are truly faithful to. We are based in Brixton, London (UK) and we love to collaborate with new artists, labels, events. So please do get in touch if you think we should be involved in whatever idea you have in mind :)
