Wenn ich nicht gerade meine Zeit in Plattenläden verbrachte, mich in verschiedenste Musikerbiographien vertiefte oder Mixtapes aufnahm, stand ich bei den DJs, um zu sehen, welcher Track gerade lief. Seit mehr als 15 Jahren bin ich selbst regelmäßig als DJ aktiv und mag es besonders, in kleinen überschaubaren Clubs "meine" besondere Musikmischung zu spielen. Von Jazz über Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Rock,

Post-Punk, Wave bis hin zum weiten Feld der elektronischen Musik spannt sich der Bogen - aber immer wieder entdecke ich etwas Neues, um mich damit ausgiebig zu beschäftigen. Besonders in meinen veröffentlichten Mixen erzähle ich gern "eine musikalische Geschichte" und/oder versuche, eine bestimmte Atmosphäre schaffen. Dabei verschiedenste Stile miteinander zu verbinden - unabhängig vom Genre oder dem Zeitpunkt ihrer Entstehung - macht für mich den besonderen Reiz als DJ aus.
