Other part, a lot of people claiming firing Kelvin Sheppard will fix all there’s good news, and bad news.

Bad News — Only one team out of 19 who fired their defensive coordinator have made playoffs (2008 Chargers)

Good News —
• Lions are only team to have the highest ranked offense of those teams.
• Just like San Diego there’s a suitable replacement on the staff;

Kacey Rodgers and Jim O’Neil unless you want to call Mike Zimmer up 🫠

I’m shocked at Sheppard to be honest, defiant in the worst ways. I hope he calls Steve Spagnulo and gets some wise words from him. The defense is way too easy to read, that’s why the Lions are getting destroyed in man and zone and they can’t stop the run.

He took over a defense which was ranked 7th in points scored, and he’s been a massive disappointment.

To all the people saying “Talent” who do you think banged the table for Barnes to get his extension? Shep has a lot of input in who the Lions get, and don’t get.

DJ Reed is having his worst two years of his career, only coming close to his rookie year, and again Shep had input in that as well. I don’t think the talent is so bad it’s rivaling the 2008, and 2020 Lions. That’s just an emotional take.

He will have to prove it Sunday.

Plus:
Brian Branch.
Ennis Rakestraw.
Trey McBride.
