Here we go kids, the final few days before the The 15th Annual Rikki Roxx Birthday Blowout | Lager House going down at Lager House. It is shaping up to be one hell of a rock n' roll extravaganza of epic proportions, and I am totally jacked.
My birthday show has always been my friends bands, people I have been close to in the 'scene' for years, rather than just a slew of random bands. That has always made it super special for me, I get to see all my friends bands in one shot, and get to share it with ALL OF YOU!!
This year is a banger, I have tried to get The Creeping Chaos on the birthday show forever, literally probably almost a decade, but something always came up. Reject The Silence is a band that I have been close with since the beginning, even filling in and playing half a show with them years ago. Dragsaw have been my boys for many years when I was going to shows WAY TOO MUCH. Ballz Deluxe have always been one of my favorite bands from around town, heavy hard rock. I always make a point to see them when I can. True Devil is a new band, but I have known Dana and James for MANY MANY years, having 60 SECOND CRUSH, Dead in 5 and now True Devil on the birthday show. I was (an still technically am) in a band with James Mound Road Engine.
Its going to be a great time. Come out and lets party!
