We had a great time supporting Taylor Michigan Historical Society’s Cemetery Walk today! Stay tuned for some exciting things to come in the near future 🪦👻👀
DPX is on a journey to investigate the unknown and unexplained. Founded in December 2016, DPX researches and investigates reportedly haunted locations to help explain the causes of the phenomena experienced there.
Through our experience as paranormal investigators and collaborating with fellow paranormal investigation teams, we seek to better understand the unknown. DPX investigates places ranging from small historic buildings to larger, more well-known locations. We have found through years of investigating that many reported paranormal experiences can be explained rationally and scientifically. Still, the

We had a great time supporting Taylor Michigan Historical Society’s Cemetery Walk today! Stay tuned for some exciting things to come in the near future 🪦👻👀
We checked out the cemetery of a lost Michigan utopian colony, Ora Labora. The colony was formed in 1862 and grew to about 280 members. A little girl was the first to become ill and die in 1862, which is when the cemetery was established. Many men from the colony left to fight for the Union during the Civil War and never returned. A fire in 1871 destroyed what was left of Ora Labora. Check out the story by John Robinson 👉🏻 https://bit.ly/3zvz3vW #puremichigan 👻
We want to THANK Bridget Marquardt for all the love and support! She is truly one of the good ones. Go check out her podcast Ghost Magnet with Bridget Marquardt, she has some amazing guests and great spooky stories. She will be at the Michigan Paranormal Convention in August, stop in and say “Hi” 👻
We visited Oakwood Cemetery recently to test out some new spirit boxes. We wanted to connect with John Clark, who is buried there and related to Martha Carrier. She was convicted and sentenced to death in the Salem Witch trials. She was hung on August 19, 1692 in Danvers, MA. The Clark’s were related to almost every family in the cemetery which was founded in 1869 and holds the remains of approximately 1,800 people.
One of our favorite haunted locations, the Holly Hotel, caught fire today. This is at least the third fire in its history. We are praying for the safety of the occupants and firefighters who are working hard to put the fire out.
The hotel suffered from two other damaging fires in 1913 and 1978.
Did you know there’s a reportedly haunted home in Marshall, Michigan that inspired a novel and movie starring Jack Black and Cate Blanchett?
Shout out to the Taylor Michigan Historical Society Cemetery committee for their great work uncovering sunken headstones in Taylor, Michigan’s oldest municipal cemetery, which is located by Heritage Park and dates back to 1830. They have also located some there that were previously undocumented 🪦

Tonight we will be LIVE right here on our page at 9 p.m. ET from Thirst Parlor Saloon, formerly known as Chas Bar, in Wyandotte, Michigan. The building dates back to 1911 and was a known speakeasy and hangout for the Purple gang during the Prohibition era. Tonight’s live investigation will provide a look inside this newly-remodeled saloon, which is set to open this summer. Check out the photos to see some of the many historic artifacts that were found in the building’s walls during the remodel. Did you know Eastern Market is built upon what was originally the Russell Street Cemetery? Several thousand burials were disinterred and moved to other nearby cemeteries, with all known burials relocated by the end of 1882. Check out this absolutely fascinating (and very well researched) article from Detroit Festival of Books: https://bit.ly/37UxPQe.

Sightings poured into FOX 2 Thursday night after strange lights in the sky were spotted over southeast Michigan shortly before 10 p.m.
We’re wishing everyone a safe and Happy Easter today! 🐇🐣
We’re in San Diego, California visiting the Whaley House, which is widely regarded as one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. Besides being the Whaley family home, it was also San Diego’s first commercial theater, the county courthouse, and a general store. The home dates back to 1856 and is no stranger to tragedy. While the Whaley family lived there, they told the San Diego Union newspaper that that they heard heavy footsteps in the house, which they believed to be the spirit of James “Yankee Jim” Robinson, who had earlier been hanged on the property for stealing a boat. Another tragic event, the death of Violet, one of the Whaley daughters, moved Thomas Whaley to build a new home in downtown San Diego and relocate his family. Details: https://bit.ly/36dV8Dy.
Today we stopped by Atwater Brewery and who who did we run into? Our good friend Brad Etheridge, who created an Atwater beer with us called “Hello from the Other Side” back in 2018! We also investigated the brewery, a former church many believe to be haunted, along with WDIV Local 4’s Alex Atwell, who captured a very interesting video clip there. “Hello from the Other Side” is not on tap currently, but stop by and try one of Atwater’s many other delicious beers. With today being #NationalBeerDay, the timing couldn’t be better 🍻 Check out Alex’s story: https://bit.ly/3jdOxfi.
We just wanted to give an update on the old Newberry State Hospital. It’s in the process of being demolished, which started in 2021. We tried on several occasions to get permission to tour the facility, but were denied because of safety concerns.
We recently visited the Oak Grove Burial Ground also known as Rumsey Cemetery in Taylorcity, Michigan. It’s the city’s largest of its three cemeteries with many German settlers and pioneers buried there. The 184 year old cemetery has long been rumored to be haunted by the Putnams, who donated the land.
We visited Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. Established in 1863, Crown Hill is the third largest non-governmental cemetery in the U.S. and the final resting place of Benjamin Harrison, 23rd President of the United States; John Dillinger, infamous 1930s bank robber and “Public Enemy #1” of the time; Richard Jordan Gatlin, inventor of the Gatlin gun; John Geisse, co-founder of Target; Stacey Toran, defensive back for the Los Angeles Raiders; and many more. Crown Hill contains 25 miles of paved road, over 150 species of trees and plants, over 225,000 graves, and services roughly 1,500 burials per year.

The Indiana State Sanatorium (1909-1968), also known as the "Indiana Tuberculosis Hospital,” was a state-run institution in Rockville, Indiana designated for the treatment and care of Tuberculosis patients. It was self-sufficient with a farm, workers, power plant, hospital, administration building, school, and more. Many of the buildings still stand today. The Sanatorium was shuttered in 1968 due to a low number of patients and in the mid-1970s, private investors proposed to convert the space into a nursing home. The facility, now known as Lee Alan Bryant Healthcare Facility (1978-2011), was opened in 1978 and gained a negative reputation due to understaffing. It was also the site of numerous accidents and tragedies as a result of mistreatment and ill-conduct, which paired with the understaffing, resulted in it being closed by the state in 2011. The property sat vacant for a decade before being purchased in December of 2020. We enjoyed investigating here this past weekend and are currently reviewing our video, photo and audio. We believe it was one of the most active places we’ve been to and plan to share findings this week. Stay tuned!
Please join us in wishing DPX co-founder Todd Bonner a very happy birthday! To celebrate, we are headed down to Indiana today to investigate the Indiana State Sanatorium. Stay tuned! 👻
We took a trip to Las Vegas and had to check out Zac Bagans Haunted Meseum, as well as the RMS Titanic artifact exhibit at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. Both filled with amazing pieces of history, be sure to visit when you can!

We visited a very unique store called Poking Dead Things in Ypsilanti, Michigan today. There are alot of things you just don’t see in metaphysical shops to often. So if you’re looking for something interesting and odd to do, go check it out… #saturday #creepyart #supportlocal
We went to check out Thompson & Co. in Ypsilanti, Michigan’s Depot Town area. Now a restaurant, the building dates back to 1861 and originally served as a hotel and storefront before it became a barracks for Civil War enlistees, which included the first Michigan Colored Infantry. In 2009, a large fire almost made the building a total loss, but it was able to be saved and is still in use today. Sadly, during construction, a worker was killed in 2015 due to an accident. The building has a haunted reputation, and staff members we spoke with said they believe it’s haunted as well. Be sure to check it out when you’re in the area! Details: https://bit.ly/3Lx39Ua.

We recently visited The Cadillac House Inn & Tavern in Lexington, Michigan. This hotel dating back to 1860 has been the site of numerous paranormal encounters. One staff member we spoke with said he has seen a shadow figure walk down the hotel’s main hallway numerous times. Definitely worth checking this place out!
We visited this historical home in Port Sanilac, Michigan over the weekend. It needs saving from being demolished! The Bark Shanty home dates back to 1853 and is the oldest standing home in the area. The Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum is trying to save it and have it moved to their property to preserve it for future generations to enjoy. They are trying to raise $75,000 to have it moved instead of being torn down. Here is a link if you would like to help.

80 years have passed since the Pearl Harbor attack on Dec. 7, 1941. After the attack, hundreds of unidentified bodies were interred on Hawaiian soil. They stayed buried until 2015 when the Pentagon ordered all “unknowns” to be exhumed and tested. As a result, several Michigan men who died in the attack have finally come home.
On Tuesday, Americans mark the Japanese military's attack on Pearl Harbor 80 years ago. Yet, remains of servicemen are still being ID'd and buried.
Todd is live with the crew for Scared & Alone! Tune in 📺👻👀
We are *LIVE* at the Fairfield County Infirmary, a former poor house dating back to 1828. It was featured on an episode of Destination FEAR and has been the site of numerous paranormal encounters. As always let us know if you see or hear anything 👻👀 #friday

Today we visited Redford Cemetery, which dates back to 1831. This 10-acre cemetery sits half in the City of Redford, and half in Detroit. Surrounded by a wrought iron fence built in 1886, Redford Cemetery is the final resting place for two Revolutionary War soldiers and many others, including veterans from the War of 1812, the Civil War, WWI and WWII. It is said to be haunted, with some claiming to have seen apparitions on its hills and more. We didn’t see any apparitions, but interestingly two photos we took of very old headstones turned out upside down for no apparent reason. More info: https://bit.ly/2ZvzKpZ.
It’s *GIVEAWAY* time. We are randomly choosing one winner for this linear fm sweep ghost box, signed by Todd, Jeff and Brandy! To enter, like our page, share this post and drop a comment. We will pick the winner on December 1 at 8PM est…👻📻
