It still amazes me that less than a year ago, my daughter looked at me and said, “Can you teach me ballet?” Like so many parents, I just followed her lead—and now here we are. Huge thanks to and Ms.Marianne for being her first official ballet teacher outside our living room. It takes a village, and I’m so grateful she’s had such a kind and thoughtful start.

So excited to share that the Counterspells online exhibition is now live!

This project holds a special place in my heart because it invited me to explore my artistry through intuition, collaboration, and storytelling—not just for young audiences, but for my own creative spirit too.

Counterspells is about responding to the invisible forces around us—the energies we carry, resist, and reclaim. It’s a reminder that art itself is a spell, and I’m honored to share space with artists who are channeling deep, powerful work.

Scarves are my favorite prop—not just because they’re fun, but because they feel. They move with us, respond to the wind, and remind me how powerful small movements can be.

It reminds me how sensitive and powerful our words and actions can be on a child’s heart and mind. How a simple gesture, a kind word, or even the energy we bring into a space can leave lasting impressions. What a huge responsibility.

Anyway, I love my scarves!

I may not have any in-person classes right now, but this video is proof that the learning and the joy never stops!
When I first posted this, it had just 24 views. Today? Over 47,000.

That means this little combo has been danced 47,000 times by little feet around the world. I can’t even wrap my head around teaching it that many times in person—but that’s the magic of video.
