The Detroit Black Film Festival returns for its seventh year with five days of movies, panels, workshops, and conversations celebrating Black filmmakers and Detroit creative talent.

The Sept. 23-27 festival includes screenings at the Charles H. Wright Museum, appearances by Diarra From Detroit creator Diarra Kilpatrick, and a showcase devoted to Black-owned spirits, b**r, w**e, and other beverage brands.

Mike Rogers has warned that publicly naming people in the Epstein files could ruin innocent lives.

Mike Rogers called reporting about two of his votes against 9/11 responder health care a “lie.” But a Metro Times review of congressional records found the story goes much further.
