Okay so I didn’t get every word right… but I hope the feeling landed.

Most of the poems in The Soul Spill were written over years. Different versions of me. Different heartbreaks. Different breakthroughs. When Vira and I started placing them together, we realized they weren’t random. They told a story of becoming.

It’s really a book about falling apart and learning how to hold yourself again.

Yesterday was my birthday, and when someone asked what I wanted, my answer was pretty simple: have more joy in the world…which is not an easy ask right now.

One way I can do this in my own life is bring more magic into my life and I do this by reading. I also felt so much joy as a kid reading books that transported me to other worlds.

Hip mobility is not optional. Especially if you want to move well for a long time.

Strength is powerful, but strength without mobility is just tension waiting to snap.

Lately I’ve been obsessed with 90/90s. Not just sitting in them, but actually lifting the ankle, rocking forward, and working internal rotation. That slow controlled moment where your heel lifts and your knee rotates inward? That’s where the magic is.

Internal rotation is the unsung hero. It protects your knees. It protects your low back. It keeps your hips from feeling like concrete.

You don’t need an hour. You need intention.
Slow reps. Control. Breath.

Strong and mobile > just strong.

Take care of your hips now so they take care of you later.

6am wake up.
Workout.
Physical therapy.
Rescue a cat.
Coach meditation.

Some days I feel like I live three lives before noon.

When you’re balancing this many roles, steady energy on the go is essential. Lucky has been my little pocket boost so I can move from training hard to holding space for others without completely draining myself.

Showing up fully > running on fumes.

Being an aunt is the BEST!

My plan today was to take a Valentine’s video with Bumble Pea and Koala Pear alone but Nora said that she wanted to be in it 🥹🌸💕🩷how precious!
