New England Studios NE Studios is a state of the art film and television studio centrally located in Massachusetts.

Home to such productions as Hulu's Castle Rock and Netflix's The Society. NE Studios is a state of the art, soundproof building providing four contiguous 18,000 square foot stages, which can be used individually or joined to total 72,000 square feet for feature film and television production. In addition to the 72,000 square feet of stages, there is an attached 4,000 square feet of sound stage sup

port space, a 30,000 square foot 3 story production support building with dressing rooms, and 20,000 square foot mill building to house production construction facilities, mechanical effects, grip and lighting and set storage.

A rare look inside Sound Stage 3 — one of four contiguous 18,000 sq. ft. drive-on sound stages at NE Studios in Devens, MA.

We managed to catch this space between productions, and it’s easy to see why filmmakers love it here. Each stage is NC25-rated for soundproofing, features 120 tons of silent heat and cooling, and offers multiple drive-on elephant doors for easy access. You can see the internal elephant doors connecting Sound Stage 3 to Sound Stage 4 and Sound Stage 2 in these images, as well as the exterior elephant door.

With six 1,200-amp power services, dedicated dimmer rooms, and wooden catwalks overhead, these stages are built to handle productions of any size. And just across the parking lot? Our construction mill and grip & electric rentals, and mill space — all part of our full-service campus.
