We are all going to miss Paul! 34 years of waking up the Lake Region has not gone unnoticed! We all wish you and your family the very best of luck as you now begin writing you next chapter. And we and extend out sincerest and deepest gratitude for having shared so much with us over the years.

"The last thing Paul told me when he left the building on Friday was 'Take care of my listeners!' I assured him that I will certainly do my very best!"

After 34 years on the air, life is taking me in another direction. I’m stepping away now to pursue exciting new opportunities, such as “sleeping past 5 a.m.” and “not talking for a living.”
Seriously though, it has been an honor to serve you, the listeners, share stories, and be a small part of the rhythm of this community. I am grateful for the support of the audience that welcomed me into their homes, cars, and daily routines.
I’ve grown up here, I’ve grown older here, and you’ve been with me through all of it.
Thank you for letting me talk into a microphone for three decades without ever asking me to get a real job. I’ll always be grateful for that.
Thank you for every moment, every day, every listen. - Paul Torpey
