The Wichita Mountains are filled with giant boulders improbably balanced atop one another, but this has always been one of my favorites. Even better, Jones Ridge—just across from Spanish Cave—hides a few fascinating rock rooms that are well worth exploring.

If you head out there, pack plenty of water and be prepared to get scratched up by the briars. The terrain is rugged, the brush is thick, but the adventure is worth every step.
