This weekend! 🎄♥️🎶🎄🎅

Yes, my keen sense of Irish suspicion was at work here!
I was pretty certain this wasn't the first time this guy had a photo taken of himself with a number under his face!

However, Christmas was nothing short of Magic. A cocktail of truth & myth, intoxicating Magic. The story of a kindly, Jolly Man who somehow could find his way into our apartment, at night, in Brooklyn, carrying gifts, drawn by sleigh that is pulled by Reindeer, unseen by any of our neighbors or the police on the street was only overshadowed by the story of The Son of God, a baby named Jesus, born in a stable, under a Guiding Star, the journey of the Three Kings, the wonder of the Shepherds and the gift of Music offered by the poor Drummer Boy filled us with an unshakeable Faith, and both tales were the Gospel truth to us!

One Christmas in the very early hours I climbed out of bed and peaked into the living room to see my father assembling a little bunkbed for my dolls. I went back to bed and quickly fell asleep, and on Christmas morning, in with my gifts, under the tree, was a Gold and White Bunkbed for my dolls with pillows and blankets.
So excited, I read the tag,
To Siusan Love Santa ....................
The floor seemed to shift as I absorbed what this meant.
Within moments I quietly realized the Truth of it.
The Beautiful, Undeniable Truth of it was more amazing, then a Charles Dickens Tale or some mixture of fairy dust in the form of a Man and a Sleigh..
The Truth was, that it had been our father who made this Magic happen for us, every year with pure, unselfish, Love, and that has been the story that I have carried into every Christmas season just as I have the Story of that little Baby Jesus, the embodiment of the Son of God, who came to show us how to Love unselfishly. The Truth of Christmas, is PURE MAGIC!
