Tonight at Trinity House! Jamie-Sue Seal, (founding artist of Smokin' Sleddog Records and TOGO Touring Artists)
is thrilled to be kicking off the launch of “The Essential Cabaret Songbook”, a new series dedicated to celebrating iconic artists through innovative musical arrangements. The first installment will pay tribute to the legendary Dusty Springfield, showcasing her timeless hits and deep cuts from the 60’s and 70’s. Join us to experience the art of music and the stories it tells.

Jamie-Sue Seal is a multi-talented musician who has had a significant presence in the performing arts for over 25 years. As a trained vocalist and dancer, and award winning songwriter, she has recorded five albums, and toured throughout the United States, most notably as a duo act with John Latini and as the producer of “The Un-Valentine’s Show: Songs & Tales of Unforgiveness, Heartbreak, Dysfunction and Revenge.” Seal is a dedicated and influential figure in the industry, making her mark as an entertainer, entrepreneur, and advocate for artists and the arts. Every stage gets a little better when Jamie-Sue steps on it!

Siusan is a second generation Irish American, native of Brooklyn NY, known for the warmth of her alto voice, quick wit and a voracious approach to songwriting. She tours regionally year round, performing Irish music with her multi-instrumentalist husband, Zig Zeitler. Their CD Chance the Arm was named Celtic Album Of The Year in 2014 by Irish radio, Celtic Echoes. Yesterday marked the day the air left the room.
It is very hard to express how the loss of John Latini has impacted us. He was Bigger than Life and is Bigger in Death so it should be no surprise that his energy continues to move through us in our conversations, in our music, our performances, our small moments and our super sized moments. Always tapping us on the shoulder to remind us, we are still all on the same path together, somehow. Time goes by, its a curse and a blessing to miss someone this much. Thanks Jonesy!
