Pretty healthy winds today, great cool temp, took a reef in both main and head sail and the result is truly "Champagne sailing" on this gorgeous day!⛵️⚓️❤️💃😎

Nice few days stop in Breaux Bridge Louisiana in a really cute RV park where we found our long lost Shaker of salt! They are quiet during the week and on the weekend they have live music Friday & Sat nights. Really neat place & summer time should be really busy. We will definitely be back!! Cute cabins too for those with extra friends and family or who aren't traveling with their "beds in tow".

.... this time Westward... we sure miss our Lil copilot pillowpadnah, the Yangy girl.....but we did get some good snuggles in last night from the Niecydawg, miss 17 year old Lillybug, who's the queen of the house these days, before we left.....& that was a nice send off❤️🐶🚍💃🏼

Yang

Yangy potangie. Yangy girl. Pook pook. The last O the Mohicans....

This baby came into our lives from the shelter along with her brother, Yen, as a last minute decision while visiting it for a completely different reason.

Given as a 4 year old birthday gift to G, they were much more and a gift to us all. While her brother Yen went on to heaven in 2022, Miss Yang continued to be a blessing to our home and even on our travels in her last few years.

She was an avid sailor and explorer, venturing to "Cat island" by SeaCloud and a RV constant companion and playmate, traveling to Starkville, Nashville, Branson, table rock lake and most recently, Tampa and Disney world in Silver Dolly...

Returning home just the evening before her most important and glorious ascension to see her Maw Maw Rose in heaven (who adored and spoiled her here), Im sure that reunion was something to see.

The old saying, "this one hit hard" is ringing very true here. However, while I prayed over her petting and comforting her as she passed, hoping for a change, I did say to God that I trusted his plan and I do.

For now, recovering is part of the grief over this very unexpected loss. They say that grief is the payment for the love we have and Ill just say that my Princess Yang, while coming from a shelter, must have been very expensive grief but worth every penny.

We love you Yangy girl. Now and forever. Til we meet again, pook pook.🙏🏻🌹

On the road again......Northward we go and a beautiful day to do it. Deckhand Yang is sleeping on the job but she has seniority so there will be no flogging or walking of the plank😎☠️🏴‍☠️

First official campsite in Miss Silver Dolly🚍🌞

Its catch up day...so a little Laundry action going on and it looks like the redneck ingenuity just came right along with us into the new home away from home.

Might I just add after this crazy cold week for the whole country, including Tampa... that it is 72⁰ and a beautiful day down here in Sunny south FL!🏝🌞Yes indeedy!
