For nearly two decades, the people of Galveston County have watched a troubling pattern unfold. Violent offenders receive plea deals that barely reflect the severity of their crimes. Career criminals cycle through the system. Public corruption allegations gather dust instead of indictments.
When law enforcement officers work tirelessly — gathering DNA evidence, securing confessions, building airtight cases — only to see charges reduced and sentences minimized, it sends a dangerous message. It tells criminals the system is negotiable. It tells victims their pain is secondary. And it tells honest citizens that accountability is optional.
The role of a District Attorney is not political convenience. It is not about protecting insiders. It is about protecting the public.
A strong District Attorney prosecutes to the fullest extent of the law. They pursue violent offenders without hesitation. They refuse sweetheart deals that undermine justice. And just as importantly, they investigate public corruption with the same intensity used against street crime — because corruption in public office erodes trust, wastes taxpayer money, and harms entire communities.
Galveston County deserves leadership that will not look the other way.
Jennifer Ott is the candidate who has made it clear that justice must be equal — whether the accused is a violent criminal or a politically connected official. We need a District Attorney who will reopen ignored corruption allegations, follow the evidence wherever it leads, and restore faith in the justice system.
The people deserve accountability. Victims deserve justice. Taxpayers deserve transparency.
It is imperative that we elect a District Attorney who will prosecute fully, fairly, and fearlessly.

Do not let anyone trick you into voting for them in mayof 2026. There is only one big burley, white person with a beard that is against corrupt Government, higher taxes and criminals working in city hall. Be careful of the impostors that want higher taxes, criminals in city hall and people who want to protect career criminals like our current mayor and councilwoman. They can imitate, but never duplicate the one and only Joseph Lowry.

Time for an Independent Audit at City Hall

I continue to receive communication from individuals inside City Hall expressing serious concerns about leadership under Interim City Manager Barbara Holly.
There has been noticeable staff turnover. When employees leave and internal concerns continue to surface, responsible leadership does not ignore it — it investigates it.
The reports I am receiving describe: • Low morale
• Decision-making influenced by a small inner circle
• A growing disconnect between management and staff
• Concerns about political alignment impacting administrative decisions
Whether perception or reality, the damage to trust is real.
At this point, a confidential, independent third-party audit of management practices and workplace culture should be mandatory.
Not a city-controlled review.
Not a selective internal survey.
An independent evaluation where employees can speak freely without fear of retaliation.
If everything is being run properly, an audit will confirm it.
If problems exist, they can be corrected before further damage is done.
La Marque deserves stable leadership, professional management, and a workplace environment where employees are valued — not divided.

Did everybody see in the news stories?And the press release how easy it is for the district attorney to request a forensic audit of a city's books? Its literally that simple!! But yet here we are, 20000 taxpayers in the city. With no answers to where the fraud and corruption waste started and ended. We all do know. However, keith bell and kim yansy were both involved and now interim city manager Barbara Holly is helping them out City of La Marque

New evidence coming in to our untraceable tip line, and it looks like not only crooked kiera, but Barbara Holly was the reason Our deputy city clerk left. Screenshots incoming!! Barbara, the crook Holly will be exposed for what she is.Nothing more than a scamming con artist like bell and yancy, scamming the taxpayers for $44.00 dollars per hour when she's not even worth $10.00. That's what you call legalized, robbery or legalized criminal activity.
