Sometimes the greatest gift we can give is the ability to say goodbye. â¤ď¸
Iâve been struggling to find the right words to share this⌠đ˘
A few weeks ago, our beloved English Mastiff, Grandma Fiona, suffered a serious injury to her rear leg. Weâve since learned that our time with her may be limited. Surgery isnât an option, so right now our focus is on keeping her comfortable, surrounded by love, and free from pain.
Weâve turned our garage into a cozy family space just for her â a queen-sized mattress, meals in bed, and easy access to the grass since stairs are no longer possible.
We spend our days right here beside her. Because with a gentle giant like Fiona, being close to family means everything. My husband, our dogs, and I havenât left her side. đĽ°
Now, weâre simply waiting for Fiona to tell us when sheâs ready. đ˘
Until that moment comes, weâre cherishing every second, every cuddle, every memory. â¤ď¸
This week is all about Grandma Fiona â the heart and soul who helped build everything we have today. â¤ď¸
If anyone would like to send her something special, Iâve added a few of her favorite things to our Amazon wishlist (link in bio).
Thank you all for your love, kindness, and support during one of the hardest times for our family. â¤ď¸
