UPDATE For us it was 13 hours later before service was restored - AND it wasn't just internet it was also cell service. This has happened a lot in our area. Wondering if anyone else experiences these kinds of outages for extended periods of time. If we were in a metropolitan area it would have made national news. We hear explanations of lines being cut during construction or some other excuse for disruption but why are these lines so vulnerable and what can be done to minimize and eliminate this type of extended disruption. Surely we have the technology to provide better and consistent service. Rural areas are just as vital and maybe more vital than metropolitan areas.

Thankfully radio stands tall and as long as we have electricity, which at this point is more reliable than internet and cell service, we will be in the air.

6 hours so far - is there any business that can function with out cell and internet service. At least we are broadcasting.
