Hello DMCS families,

Dixon Montessori had a specal visitor on campos earlier this week. We had the privalage of having gold medalist Michael Lizzaraga aka the
"Great One" come to show off his gold medal that he won in Tokyo for
The Deaflympics. The USA has not won gold since 2009!

Dixon Montessori tuvo un visitante especial en el campus al principio de esta semana. Tuvimos el privilegio de recibir al medallista de oro Michael Lizzaraga, también conocido como “The Great One”, quien vino a mostrarnos la medalla de oro que ganó en Tokio para las Olimpiadas para Sordos. USA no había ganado una medalla de oro desde 2009!

Student-Athlete of the Week: Bella Rodriguez
Senior | Midfielder

A four-year varsity leader for the Rams, Bella was last season’s GEL Offensive MVP and is serving as captain this year. She holds an impressive 4.6 GPA and plans to major in Biology at a four-year university next fall.

Bella has been a key play maker in DHS Soccer’s last two preseason wins and continues to set the tone on and off the field.
