BAM Kayak Stop #4: Lake Change to McClure Reservoir

Due to increasing low water levels at Eastman Reservoir, the final 2026 Regular Season Event for the BAM Kayak Series is transitioning to Lake McClure.

This will be a Dual Launch Event out of McClure Point and Barrett Cove Recreation Area, with McClure Point being the Primary Launch Location.

Awards Location is still being determined, and the Pre-Tournament Meeting will be recorded virtually with a possible meeting location if interest is shown.

Entry Fee: $155
Sidepot: $50 (Optional)

Register on bamtrail.com, the website will be updated this week. Once registered, you will be added to TourneyX.

BAM Super 60 pro travis_archer_fishing shares one of his favorite shallow-water techniques, which is fishing swim jigs in just 2–3 feet of water. His best advice? Almost any jig can become a swim jig if you simply slow down your retrieve. It’s a simple adjustment that can make a big difference when targeting shallow bass.
