Pulaski County Citizens and Visitors Message from MODoT reference I-44...

The project to improve safety and drivability along the I-44 corridor in Pulaski County by adding a climbing lane in each direction is entering the final stages.

Beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, and continuing into early October, an around-the-clock lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-44, between mile markers 159.4 and 160 in the St. Robert/Waynesville area.

The lane closure, current ramp closure at Exit 159, and major traffic impacts are expected to wrap up in early October 2026; however, some finishing work may still be needed.

Drivers are advised to remain alert for changing traffic patterns throughout construction.
