Feeling a little uncertain about whether or not your site is working for you?

Here’s some really common mistakes I see business owners make when it comes to website design.

🗺️ Navigation isn’t really user friendly.

Look, I get it. You want to stand out and have a unique edge over your competitors, but don’t use navigation to differentiate yourself. Stick with common terms so visitors can easily find what they’re in search of.

🖥️ Your main heading isn’t descriptive enough.

I see a lot of people trying too hard to be witty and not really nailing it. Being relateable is important, I won’t argue that. But I want a visitor to come to my main header and say, “Yep, I’m in the right place.” Who are you? What do you do? What makes you different? How do you solve my specific problem?

🖊️ Your delivery is messy.

People want to find what they’re looking for. But sometimes too much info is… well… too much. Don’t be overwhelming. Keep it clear, concise and clean. I love bullet points and icons for this.

Time to hit the save button on some great content ideas that actually SERVE your audience.

My biggest advice is post content that is something you can stay consistent with. If you can’t make perfect reels to post frequently, then don’t go for that. Choose simplicity over complexity.

Looking for color palette ideas to use on your website? Here’s some gorgeous combos that create a variety of vibes. 😎

#1 is a simple and subtle palette great for a variety of businesses. Great for those in the interior design industry!

#2 is my take on a female-dominated industry that doesn’t want something overly “girly.” I’m not much for pink, but I do love this combo!

#3 🇺🇸 American Pop is my take on being patriotic, family-oriented and a little fun.

#4 is a masculine luxury palette that I think of for a watch company, car dealership or designer clothing.

Welcome to the flex zone! 💪🏼 Flex Fitness 24/7 got the site upgrade to match their amazing space.

I loved working on this project. Gym sites are always fun because I can explore edgy textures, colors and elements that match the mood.
