Josh even helped MC the event which included a greeting from School Board President Ryan Ausmus, remarks from Superintendent Jason Scheck and games and giveaways.

The next phase of the Downtown Dodge City Streetscape is beginning! The corner of Central and Wyatt Earp where the Wyatt Earp statue is located, is being redone. The statue will be reinstalled to make it easier to view and photograph. The Wyatt Earp Gateway will create a welcoming space into the Downtown District with the Boot Hill Arch matching the one currently on the west end of the historic district.

There is a lot happening behind the scenes with childcare in Dodge City!

While work continues on the Full Circle Childcare Center, the Childcare Coalition of Dodge City is doing much more than designing a building. We are learning from other childcare centers and industry experts, planning for safety and security, developing operations and staffing plans, supporting existing providers, connecting families through our Provider Directory and Child Care Waitlist, and exploring new opportunities such as shared purchasing for licensed providers.

Our goal is bigger than one childcare center. We are working to build a stronger, more sustainable childcare system for our entire community.
