CRC to Celebrate
100th Anniversary
The Christian Reformed Church of Rock Rapids will be celebrating their 100th Anniversary on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26.
A catered picnic will be held on Saturday evening, June 25 under the tent, a social hour will begin at 4:00pm., with the meal served at 5:00pm. (Freewill donation) If you wish to attend the meal call 712-472-3253 (leave a message) or email [email protected] Deadline for reservations is June 15th.
At 6:30: a service will be held in the sanctuary which will include former pastors sharing memories, and a power point showing old and new church.
Dessert will follow in the tent, with an open mic for memory sharing.
Sunday, June 26 at 9:30 a.m. Praise and Worship Service, with former pastors assisting. Followed by coffee and cake social under the tent.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 16th, at 2:00 in the Doon City Park. Bring your kiddos and a bucket for a time of fun and excitement!

Sometime this weekend a special red mailbox was left in the Doon Post Office lobby for kids to bring their letter to Santa. Bring in your own letter or use one near the box. All letters will be picked up by Santa this Saturday!

Over the weekend a mailbox was set up in the Doon Post Office lobby for all the kids to drop off letters for Santa. Bring your own letter or grab a sheet by the mailbox to write your letter on. Santa will be in town on Saturday so he will pick them up. Kids may bring their letters along Saturday also. Doon community room from 10:00-11:00am.

HELP THE HEARTHOORN FAMILY

November is adoption awareness month. My husband and I are finalists in competition where our whole adoption would be paid for through Fund the Nations. It is only a week long fundraiser that started today. We were wondering if you could help us get the word out?
