Toy Drive! :D it's a special time of the year. Head over to CityPlace Doral next Thursday December 11 at 6pm to donate a toy. CityPlace Doral is partnering with Jackson Health Foundation's (Jackson Health System) Holiday of Miracles toy drive to help make the season brighter for children in need.

There will be a clown show by Petunia y Cantaleta, and music to dance the night away at a Christmas-themed party with falling snow. Festive characters, including Snowman, elves, Rudolph and Nutcrackers will be there too!

YES! Last night was a triumphant start to the 2025-2026 season of The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO). Maestro Eduardo Marturet led the MISO musicians in a captivating evening that featured soloists Catherin Meza (Soprano) and Anna Litvinenko (violoncello), playing the music of Wagner, Rachmaninoff, Dvorak, and a little bit of Bach sprinkled as a mystery piece! A well-deserved standing ovation at the end, camera flashes, and a full house at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts (which is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary) made this the best season opening performance by the MISO ever! Congratulations to all the MISO musicians, production team, Maestro Marturet, and Lead Ambassador Athina Marturet for a great kick-off!

CityPlace Doral will host, along with RECREA, a Back-to-School event as part of its Family Fun Fridays series on Friday, August 1, at 6 p.m. at the Fountain Plaza.

The back-to-school bash will feature a lively dance party with a live DJ, entertainment, interactive games and more surprises for the whole family to enjoy. The first 40 kids will receive a goodie bag just in time for the new school year.

SUCCESS! The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) closed its 2024-2025 season on Mother's Day with a concert that highlighted the love that mothers give and deserve. Maestro Eduardo Marturet and the MISO musicians, along with special guest performances, left it all on stage for the appreciative crowd. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava was present to accompany Marturet to present Tatiana Guibiritey with the MISO Golden Baton Award 2025 for her extensive contribution to the arts. Congratulations to all!
