There is nothing you can do about what is going to happen to you. You can’t stop life from happening but you can do something about what happened to you.Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% what you do about it. Don’t allow what happens to you today define you forever.

It is not everyone who says I love you mean it. A man or woman can love bombed you to use you. They make sure you fall in love while they aren’t in love with you. You will get baited, trapped and they will destabilize you. In the beginning, they will tell you how wonderful you are. If you let them, in the short run, they will kind of chip away at who you are and so you kind of feel destabilized. Then you are always trying to please them. Because at that point they tell you you’re not quite good enough and since you love them, you kind of think that something is wrong with you, and you will be a slave in that relationship. Occasionally they may dangle a little but ill that love in front of you but their job is other than that to keep you under their thumb so they can behave anyhow they want to behave. The world is something else.

If you want to live long, don’t give birth to children that you can’t take care of. I know we have men and women out there that don’t care but to enjoy their lives. They don’t think about the future of the unwanted children but to satisfy their urge of having s*x. Bringing up children is not a day job. Children can frustrate you, especially here in America where there are laws that parents must follow such as providing for medical care, housing, education, and food. In addition, you are expected to meet a child’s emotional and physical needs. Also, you must protect them from harm and abuse and many other things. Just imagine those who can barely provide for their kids. It is frustrating especially if your child is crying for food, and you don’t have any food and more especially illness.

Furthermore, kids here learn quickly by observing and they are very smart, more than you can ever think of. You can’t be a failure and advise them, they will think you are a joke, especially something they find challenging to do. To my understanding, a failure is someone who tries to do something and after failing he/she quits. It could be school, business or anything but the secret in life is never quit but keep trying. As long as you keep working on that thing, success awaits you some day. Those times you keep trying and failing, your kids are watching for your next move and if you quit, they also will learn that it's ok to quit on your goals if they are too challenging. Make sure your goals are attainable. Some people set unrealistic goals thus it is difficult to get the result. It is a powerful lesson to those kids not to ever give up in life, especially their career. They will throw it back at you and remind you that you couldn’t make it in life. Kids here are not afraid, especially when it comes to the truth. That is the more reason you see every parent here trying and working hard to add more value to themselves so that the kids can have something to learn as they grow.

Some people that come from abroad in search of a wife or husband are people with terrible character. They couldn’t keep a relationship this way and are looking for a desperate and naive man or woman to marry. The only place to find such people easily is Africa. ✅

I just realized that everything in life is transactional, especially relationships. Many people are hypocrites and hate the fact that everything is transactional. Knowing that relationships these days are transactional can make one feel uncomfortable in a relationship but it’s the truth. People love value and we work hard daily to add more value to our lives. Some people do it by continuing their education, some by learning a trade, opening a business and many others. We tend to admire and love to be in a relationship with someone who has value. We find it difficult to love people of no value. A lot of single girls will tell you that they haven’t found the right man but that doesn’t mean that men are not asking them for marriage. The men that are approaching them are men of no value. The same goes to men. Many of them are single because they are searching for a woman of value. Everyone is searching for that person who can come into their lives and make things better and not worse. If you don’t have value, then you are only good for dating and not marrying because you lack the most valuable qualities for marriage. The transaction means I'm only coming to you because I need something from you. We all are using each other and there is nothing wrong with it because humans are social animals. We need each other to survive. There is a saying that “you are somebody because of somebody”. Using people incorrectly could break them. For example, using a fork to remove meat from your teeth can break your teeth. Looking at the transaction from my own clear observation, both parties’ benefit from it. A lot of people have friends that are terrible but because they have value, which means they are useful and can be used they keep the relationship to keep using them. You see people struggling in a relationship but don’t want to quit until they get what they want to achieve in that relationship. In another way when a man or a woman meets their dream partner, they ask questions like what do you do for a living, where do you work, what are your goals, vision, and mission and what are you currently doing to make sure you achieve them. Because not every goal is attainable. Some people can build houses with their mouths. Everybody wants to make sure you have value and will be valuable to them if they are in a relationship with you.
