💀 What an amazing start to the Haunt season!

With all of the entertainment additions this year, it is going to be extremely difficult to experience everything in one night.

A few quick thoughts from opening night:

• 🎪 The Skeleton Crew — Fans of Cirque Imagine are going to be extremely happy with this one. It feels like a great addition to the Haunt entertainment lineup.

• 🎭 Heads Will Roll — This show is good, but as a reminder, it only shares the same name as the previous HWR show. Don’t go in expecting the old show. That said, still don’t miss it!

• 💀 Wake the Dead — Live Haunt entertainment is officially back in the Kings Dominion Theater! This is one you do not want to miss. There are four possible endings, each featuring a different song, so you could see something different each time.

• ⚠️ Sink the Jerk — Unfortunately, technical issues kept the show from opening tonight. It is expected to open next weekend.

Tomorrow, we’ll be back at it and focusing on the mazes and scare zones. There’s a lot to see this year, and we’re just getting started!

🚨 DIABLO OPENING UPDATE 🚨

Kings Dominion has announced that the opening of Diablo: The Infernal Path at Halloween Haunt is being pushed back.

The team is still working through the final commissioning process to make sure the new attraction is ready to deliver the immersive experience they’re aiming for. Because of this, Diablo will now open Friday, September 25.

If you purchased a Haunted Attractions Pass, Kings Dominion says you will receive a Single-Use Express Pass for Diablo: The Infernal Path, which can be used beginning September 25.

We know a lot of people were looking forward to experiencing Diablo on opening weekend, but hopefully the extra time means the attraction will be ready to go when it opens.

💀 HAUNT BEGINS TONIGHT 💀

With spooky season officially here, we thought we’d share these classic Haunt rules.

Please take note of the last one especially: “Do not touch the monsters, they will not touch you.”

Haunt is meant to be a fun event, not an excuse to be an ass. Remember, a lot of the monsters are minors, and for some, this is their first job. Treat them with respect and let them enjoy the experience, too.

With that being said, have fun tonight, and we’ll see you in the fog!

Getting ready for Haunt? Kings Dominion has several new Haunt items available to preorder!

• 🚫 No Boo Necklace — Lets Haunt monsters know you’re not looking to be scared in the scare zones. The necklace does not apply inside the mazes.

• 🏮 Haunt Lantern — An interactive lantern that can be used at designated locations throughout the park to trigger special effects.

• 👻 Shoulder Sitters — New Haunt-themed characters designed to ride along on your shoulder as you explore the park. They also interact with other shoulder sitters and Haunt lanterns.

🎃 Haunt begins Friday, September 18 at 6 PM!
