Work Camping / Van Life opportunity!
We are a small homestead in SE Alabama on just over 8 acres. We are looking for an individual, couple or even a small family to provide a total of 15 hours work per week.
Primary duties will be animal care (chickens & rabbits) and maintenance, with a little lawn/landscaping care and some other assorted projects. For example, the family that was here last year planted some fruit trees, built a couple rabbit hutches, and helped with a privacy screen project, etc.
In return we offer a very quiet, peaceful place for you to park your RV with plenty of privacy. This is not a campground or RV park, so the setup is different than in a park, however we have electric and water for you to hook into and a septic tank for dumping your gray/black tanks. We also have high speed starlink internet that you are welcome to use.
A little about us: husband is a travel nurse and is only home occasionally. Wife (me): is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher with a small private practice, operates a small farm stand and also does airbnb.
Where we are located: we are about 5 miles south of Dothan Alabama, which is a town/city big enough to have almost anything you could need. We are 15 minutes from the Florida border and are only 90 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, Panama City Beach and Tallahassee.
